Is Stress Really Affecting One’s Fertility?

Many women easily fall pregnant even if they smoke like a fireplace, drink a lot after dinner and even think that exercise is a waste of time. On the other hand, there are women who do all that is good but who do not get pregnant for months and years and do not take their time to become pregnant.

New evidence indicates that stress affects fertility. A recent study has shown that women with high levels of alpha-amylase, an enzyme that correlates with stress, have a harder time getting pregnant.

Women can, and often do become pregnant even under intense stress, for example after the death of a spouse.

Women suffer from high levels of cortisol, a stress hormone. In stressful situations, cortisol, similar to adrenaline, drives the metabolism to a higher speed. This can increase blood pressure, gain weight or lead to other health problems.

How to get rid of the stress of women trying to get pregnant?

1. Enlist one’s partner.

Research indicates that women manage infertility stress differently than men. Women are more likely to seek social support, for example; men lean toward problem-solving. This disconnection can tend to tend the relationship. Couples must act as if they are going out together again. They must have time during the week to go to the movies. We can go together for dance classes. Take about 20 minutes of their time to devote to discussions about pregnancy. The discussions on fertility help, but not too much.

2. Rethink one’s attitude.

Sometimes the feeling that everyone gets pregnant causes a lot of distress. Positive thinking reduce stress which is essential. Avoid pessimistic thoughts and a realistic approach and attitude.

3. Try journaling.

Mentioning one's thoughts on paper can help get rid of the pressure. One feels free from worries that one might hesitate to share.

4. Stay active.

Continuing activities that we like, such as pregnancy projects. You can take pictures, plan special meals - anything that gives you a lot of passion. Pleasant activities promote serotonin, a brain chemical that improves mood.

5. Work on relaxation.

You have to make the body relax deeply. Take about five minutes to close your eyes and then travel to a distant destination, a mini mental vacation. Allow everyone to experience all the senses of their environment. The benefits of the "relaxation response" include a rather slow heart rate and a drop in blood pressure. You can do meditation, yoga and some progressive muscle relaxations.

Women who want to get pregnant need to relax and get rid of unwanted stress through positive activities that do relax the mind. Ferty9 being the best fertility Hospitals in Hyderabad where you can solve your fertility problems with simple and advanced methods

  1. Myself and my husband had been trying to get pregnant for 18 months before I was referred to Native Iyabasira fertility solution. We had no definite diagnosis of what was wrong and had become very frustrated. In November 2015 I was given a thorough reproductive health work up, I found out I had low progesterone, thyroid issues and a stomach issue which was affecting my ability to get pregant. This was a very thorough process involving dietary, hormonal and physical investigations and started the recommended treatments in Feb 16 2016. I was pregnant by april 16. I had a baby boy in march 2017. I was carefully monitored and mother Iyabasira was always available for me. I can recommend native iyabasira more highly so much so we are hoping to start trying for a second baby under her guidance.
